About the Author
Ron Pringle is a nonprofit executive, community builder, and author of When Vision Meets Reality: Authentic Leadership for the Messy Middle. He currently serves as President & CEO of Inter-Faith Food Shuttle in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he partners with neighbors and cross-sector leaders to advance nutrition security, resilience, and pathways to stability.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, Ron has led large-scale food access and disaster-response efforts while building programs rooted in dignity, community power, and practical impact. A Desert Storm veteran, he writes and speaks candidly about leadership, emotional intelligence, and the journey of becoming—especially when life is complicated and the work is urgent.
